VoIPover3G tricks applications into thinking that they are on a WiFi-Connection, even though they are on a cellular-connection like GRPS, EDGE or 3G.
This removes restrictions put in place by the developers, apple and AT&T and allows you to make calls using VoIP apps like Fring or Skype.
Please read the usage instructions for more info and checkout 3G Unrestrictor the premium successor of VoIPover3G, which allows you to trick other applications like Slingplayer and many other easily.

You can make calls on EDGE/3G with:
- Skype
- Fring
Other applications can be tricked too, but are not configured in the default config. You can do that by editing the config file. Please read the instructions below.
Warning: If you use this for bypass something your provider or anyone else forbids and you get caught, you cannot hold me responsible for that.
This is just a warning to protect myself. VoIPover3G has been available and used on the iPhone for months and I never heared once about anyone having problems with it in this regard.
